DIRECTOR'S NOTE

I consider this as an ideal time for a trip down the memory lane as I am fast approaching my 50^thBirthday. It is neither the fear nor pessimism that hit me upon thinking that I am well past a good part of my life, however there is nothing more substantial and resourceful to dwell on than your own life that helps to stimulate the creativity to the desired level

This movie is an outcome of one’s desire to travel back-in-time, to one’s longings, dream, wishes and imagination while he travels ahead in his journey called life.

This is the result of a thought, transpired to a movie, through a journey I undertakes with four most influential women in my life who presumes to know me inside out, though far from reality. The Ladies who travel with me in this journey are my Mother, Wife, Daughter and my first love, exactly in the order of intense I have towards them. The realisation that there is no possibility of the journey with these women to take place, has made me to dream about and film it. What if this journey is a dream? I wanted to portray things realistically even through the cinema I make, so why not realise the dream cinematically?

SYNOPSIS

In life, he hadn’t travelled much.

Fleeing from homeland with his mother was his first.

Adolescence was a passage through the pain of lost love.

On a honeymoon train ride to Delhi, his second journey, he is saved from losing his way by his wife.

And later, the journey of holding hands with his daughter…

What is left is a journey unburdened by the inevitability of return… and in the midst of it, he travels along a path he had chosen, but had failed to tread…

Travelling with the four women who have influenced him most in life – mother, wife, daughter & first lover… is fifty year old Jeevan.

Time, seasons & places entwine hands with him on this journey… Just as he had desired.
